On his aproximately 4600m2 property that is partly surrounded by tall fur trees the client wished for a capacious but archaic log house, a separate garage and a summer kitchen. The designed log house is situated in the west part of the property. The buildings center line is situated in south-west / north-east. The living rooms large windows are directed towards south-east and the separate garage is to be situated in the east side of the property.

The building is a 1,5 storey high hand-hewn log house that has partly a earth stone facade and has an 45° inclination thatched roof. The building has been designed with a butterfly shape in order to visually decrease the relatively large building capacity. The separate building parts are connected in a right angle with a 45° tilt.

In the center of the property is the 8m wide living room from witch projects trough 2 storeys dormer with a granite stone facade.

The entrance and office, bedroom with it's separate bathroom and dressing room, kitchen and dining room and the sauna complex are all connected to the living room section in a 45° angle. Between the kitchen, dining room section and the sauna complex is an eaves on posts that is opened to the evening sun.
