The property of 22 Rataskaevu street / 4 Lühike jalg street includes some of the most valuable buildings in the old town of Tallinn. It is situated south of 20 Rataskaevu street, east of Toompea wall, west of Rataskaevu street and north of 24 Rataskaevu street and Lühike jalg street. The property includes two courtyards and 4 separate or attached building volumes. The house looking at Rataskaevu street is known as home of Michael Sittow, one of the most famous medieval and renaissance masters of Tallinn.

High attics of medieval buildings were turned into apartments in the course of restoration works, entire complex has been divided into 22 apartments, a restaurant in the basement looking at Rataskaevu street and Cafe Matilda at Lühike jalg street. As a result of design and building works several beam ceilings, brick and limestone walls, vaults, painted wooden lintels, bricked in barred windows, carved stones on the facades etc were discovered, cleaned and exposed.
